Decision Neuroscience, including its subfields of Neuroeconomics and Neuromarketing, has provided new insights into the mechanisms that underlie a wide range of economic and social phenomena ranging from risky choice and consumer behavior to altruism and cooperation. The interdisciplinary graduate program in Decision Neuroscience will be a joint effort between the Fox School of Business and the Department of Psychology (Brain and Cognitive Sciences) at Temple University.
This unique interdisciplinary program, the first of its kind, provides an opportunity to work with leading research faculties across different disciplines on integrating scientific findings with real-world problems. Students will have access to world-class research facilities including Siemens 3T scanner, Tobii eye-trackers, and BIOPAC systems for biometric measures such as EKG, respiration, skin conductance, and fEMG.
Students in this program will take courses and have research rotations in both the Fox School of Business and the Department of Psychology. Consistent with the vision of the program, students will be encouraged to work with faculty members from more than one department during their rotations in order to develop a broad and interdisciplinary research focus.
