Complimentary membership and meeting registration is available for people whose university will not cover their expenses this year due to a COVID-19-related expense freeze.

Priority will be given to those students/scientists/faculty who are currently working or studying and living in a resource-restricted country– those defined by the World Bank (link to https://datahelpdesk.worldbank.org/knowledgebase/articles/906519) as low, lower-middle, or upper-middle income. Society for NeuroEconomics International Diversity Fellowship

The Society for NeuroEconomics will provide travel fellowships for neuroeconomists, neuroscientists, psychologists and economists who are currently working and living in a resource-restricted country to attend the SNE annual meeting. The SNE annual meeting will be held October 9–11, 2020 in Vancouver, Canada.

There will be 3 fellowships granted (one for a student, one for a post doc and one for a faculty member) granted that each include a $2000 monetary prize and a complimentary registration to the Annual Meeting.

To be considered,

  • Nominees must conduct research in the field of Neuroeconomics
  • Nominees must be currently working and living in a resource-restricted country – those defined by the World Bank as low, lower-middle, or upper-middle income. (Click here for the World Bank’s country classifications)

Priority will be given to those applicants who have not obtained a student travel award within the past five years.
