The University of Melbourne is inviting qualified candidates to apply for the new PhD program in decision, risk and financial sciences, to commence in Semester 2 of 2017 (starting August 2017).

The PhD program is a “2+3” program, which means two years of coursework and lab rotation leading towards a Master’s, and three years of PhD dissertation work. It combines training in relevant courses from economics & finance, psychology, neuroscience and computer science, with the aim of pushing the frontier in the study of human decision making and human-robot interaction. The methodological emphasis is on experiments, though historical analysis of field data is not excluded.
