Welcome To Cascais, Portugal
Join us seaside on the Portuguese Riviera for the 2024 SNE Annual Conference. This year we will meet in Cascais, a beautiful traditional Portuguese fishing village located 30 km outside of Lisbon. Historically the summer home for Portuguese nobility, this charming town features sandy beaches, museums, historic buildings, cobblestone streets and a lively bar and restaurant scene. Close by one can explore the many stately villas and castles spread throughout the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, travel to Cabo da Roca, the rugged headlands of Europe’s most westerly point or head to Lisbon and visit one of Europe’s great capitals. The combination of urban and suburban, nature and city, ocean and mountains make this an unforgettable location for scientific presentations and networking with colleagues and fellow scientists.
